Oulu Climbing Centre

The Oulu Climbing Centre is located in Toppila, an old power station designed by Alvar Aalto in 1930. In our facilities you can try and practice climbing in a variety of ways. In the main hall you will find a rope hall, an old bouldering side and automatic walls. At the entrance there is a café and a climbing equipment shop. Our new bouldering hall is located across the road in a warehouse building designed by Alvar Aalto. Entrance fees and stamping will be done on the main hall side. You don't need previous climbing experience, your own equipment or an appointment to try climbing. Welcome to the climb!

Our sauna and meeting rooms are perfect for meetings, recreation days and all kinds of parties. You can arrange your own catering or book it through us. Activities can easily be organised in the form of guided climbing. The entire top floor of the climbing centre (4th floor, no lift) is available to you. The facilities consist of a meeting room, kitchen, sauna and roof terrace.
